  • 250 grams digestive biscuits
  • 200 grams butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 200 grams sugar
  • 100 grams cocoa powder
  • powdered sugar
  • 2.5 teaspoons rum


  • Crush the biscuits into small pieces.
  • Whisk sugar and eggs until well mixed.
  • Add cocoa powder and the softened butter and mix until well-combined.
  • Add the crushed biscuits and work the batter with your hands.
  • Add 2-3 teaspoons of rum.
  • Roughly shape the salami and place it on a baking paper.
  • Roll the baking paper around the salami until completely covered. Roll on the working surface until the shape is round.
  • Let it rest in the fridge for 12 hours or more.
  • Cover in powdered sugar before serving.


  • To crush the biscuits, we usually fill a freezer bag with them and crush them with a rolling pin.
  • When adding the rum, taste after each teaspoon and decide the amount based on your taste.
  • You can cover it with cocoa powder instead of powdered sugar if you wish.
